Ahmyah Smith
Interim Executive Director
Ahmyah is a Cincinnati native with over 8 years of nonprofit leadership experience; having been a Case Manager to severely mentally disable adults to serving two AmeriCorps VISTA terms in Salt Lake City, UT and Austin, TX. She is tasked with creating meaningful partnerships with local area nonprofit organizations and cultivating homegrown leaders that have a passion for social justice and serving their community. Ahmyah was named the 2016 Outstanding Manager of Volunteers by Cincinnati Association of Volunteer Administrators (CAVA) and 2017 YMCA Rising Star.

Freda Epum
Program Manager of Ally Development
As our Program Manager for Ally Development, Freda's responsibilities include facilitating and developing curriculum, as well as mentoring the next generation of leaders. For the past several years she has worked with a variety of audience groups in museums, higher education, and learning centers. Her work has lead to a passion for increasing accessibility in education, including gender, sexuality, racial diversity, and nontraditional education programs like for ESL students or those with developmental disabilities. She is excited to join the Public Allies family!
